Overview#

The Intelligence Class Ladder is a structured framework for distinguishing between ascending tiers of artificial cognition — from narrow, task-scoped systems to the theoretical apex of superintelligent capability. The three modules below form the core triadic structure.


Modules#

1. Artificial Applied Intelligence (AAI)#

Covers intelligence systems bounded by specific domains and predefined task sets. AAI represents the current operational reality of deployed AI — capable within scope, but lacking generalization.

Addresses the threshold at which a system can perform any intellectual task a human can, with cross-domain reasoning, learning transfer, and autonomous goal-setting. AGI marks the pivotal transition from narrow to broad cognition.
