🔺 RTT Dimensions
How systems gain, lose, and invert access to structure
🎯 What Dimensions Mean in RTT‑Tech#
In RTT‑Tech, dimensions are not spatial axes.
They describe how many ways a system can change without breaking.
Dimensions measure:
- degrees of freedom
- pattern complexity
- coherence capacity
- regime behavior
They are functional, not geometric.
(Your original framing preserved)
🔢 Dimensional Access#
RTT uses a simple, practical access scale:
- 0D — no structure (point / seed / baseline)
- 1D — single axis of behavior
- 2D — multi‑axis patterning
- 3D — stable, volumetric coherence
Higher dimensions exist, but RTT‑Tech focuses on 0D–3D for clarity.

🔺 The Triadic Dimensional Model#
Every dimensional change follows the same triad:
1️⃣ Access — what the system can reach
2️⃣ Stability — how long it can hold it
3️⃣ Transition — how it moves between dimensions
This triad is the backbone of RTT dimensional reasoning.
1️⃣ Dimensional Access#
Access describes what the system can do.
$$D_{\text{access}} = {0D,\ 1D,\ 2D,\ 3D}$$
(From your original file)
2️⃣ Dimensional Stability#
Stability describes how long the system can stay in a dimension.
$$D_{\text{stable}} = f(\text{coherence},\ \text{substrate})$$
(From your original file)
3️⃣ Dimensional Transition#
This is where your current file was truncated by GitHub UI text.
Here is the completed RTT‑Tech version:
Dimensional transitions describe how a system moves between 0D, 1D, 2D, and 3D.
$$D_{t+1} = O(D_t)$$
Where O is any RTT operator:
- Stabilize → increases dimensional stability
- Shift → moves the system between dimensions
- Invert → collapses → twists → re‑emerges at a new dimension
Transition Patterns#
- 0D → 1D: initial structure
- 1D → 2D: pattern formation
- 2D → 3D: structural coherence
- 3D → 2D: partial collapse
- 2D → 1D: fragmentation
- 1D → 0D: full collapse
Inversion‑Driven Transitions#
Inversion often flips:
$$2D \rightarrow 3D$$
after collapse → twist → emergence.
🧩 Dimensional Summary#
| Dimension | Meaning | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| 0D | seed / baseline | no structure |
| 1D | linear | single‑axis behavior |
| 2D | patterned | multi‑axis behavior |
| 3D | structural | stable coherence |
🧱 Design Notes#
This module is intentionally minimal:
- no physics
- no metaphysics
- no geometry
RTT‑Tech treats dimensions as functional access levels, not spatial coordinates.
