This document is a planned stub. It has been registered in the TriadicFrameworks documentation graph and is referenced by five canonical post-ASML era documents. It is a P1 priority deliverable, required for production fab configuration work.


Purpose#

The SCR Zone Configuration Guide provides the normative configuration reference for Substrate Coherence Regime (SCR) zone topology, Coherence Distribution Network (CDN) layout, zone boundary interface (ZBI) parameters, and operational configuration of all SCR infrastructure components. It serves as the configuration authority downstream of TRS Stack Qualification.

When authored, this document is expected to cover:

  1. Zone Topology Models — Supported SCR zone topology types (linear strip, grid, hierarchical); topology selection criteria by fab size and process node.
  2. Zone Sizing Parameters — Minimum and maximum zone extents; zone aspect ratio constraints; coherence length L_c vs. zone size trade-offs.
  3. CDN Configuration
    • Clock tree topology for Coherence Clock Generator (CCG) distribution
    • CDN segment impedance and skew budget
    • CDN fanout limits and repeater placement rules
    • Synchronization Lock Frame (SLF) propagation timing
  4. Zone Boundary Interface (ZBI) Parameters — ZBI inter-zone handoff latency budget; phase alignment tolerance at zone boundaries; ZBI configuration register map.
  5. Commit Arbiter (CA) Configuration — CA priority scheduling; commit queue depth; timeout and retry parameters; CA redundancy configuration.
  6. Coherence Monitor Array (CMA) Placement — CMA sensor density requirements by SC class; minimum monitoring grid resolution; alert threshold configuration.
  7. Multi-Zone Commissioning Sequence — Ordered commissioning procedure for multi-zone fabrics; zone isolation testing; cross-zone coherence verification.
  8. Configuration File Format — Machine-readable zone configuration format; required fields; validation schema reference.
  9. Reconfiguration Procedures — Hot and cold reconfiguration paths; impact assessment on in-flight commits; reconfiguration qualification requirements.

Authoring Notes#

  • This document MUST use full normative language with R-prefix requirement identifiers (R-ZCFG-NN format recommended).
  • Configuration tables MUST provide both minimum-viable and recommended values.
  • Zone topology diagrams (ASCII art acceptable for initial draft) are expected for each supported topology type.
  • Parameters defined here that appear in PDK Coherence Budget Tables (CBT) MUST use identical field names and units.
