Scene 1 — Arrival at the Wind Corridor#

Purpose#

Introduce Little Motion, establish the domain of Motion, and present the Wind Corridor as the central environment.

Narrative Summary#

Little Motion arrives at the Guild’s Wind Corridor, a long, open passage where air currents reveal the direction of flow. The Master waits at the far end, cloak unmoving.

Emotional Tone#

Restlessness, excitement, eagerness to move.

Visual Identity Notes#

  • Soft directional wind

Scene 2 — The First Push#

Purpose#

Challenge Little Motion’s assumptions about movement and force.

Narrative Summary#

Little Motion attempts to push against the wind, believing strength creates movement. The wind resists, scattering his efforts. The Master encourages him to feel direction rather than fight it.

Emotional Tone#

Frustration, confusion.

Scene 3 — The Lesson of Flow#

Purpose#

Reveal the true nature of Motion: movement arises from alignment, not force.

Narrative Summary#

The Master demonstrates flow by stepping lightly into the wind, moving effortlessly as the currents guide him. Little Motion watches the difference between pushing and aligning.

Awe, conceptual shift.

Purpose#

Little Motion attempts his first flow‑aligned movement.

Little Motion steps into the wind, initially stumbling. When he relaxes and listens, the wind carries him forward in a smooth arc.

Tension → release → breakthrough.

Purpose#

Little Motion hesitates at a stronger gust. The Master guides him to trust the direction rather than fear it. When he steps forward, the wind carries him with surprising gentleness.

Purpose#

Complete the apprentice arc and establish Little Motion’s identity.

At sunset, Little Motion stands in the Wind Corridor. He raises his hands in the apprentice gesture and speaks the Oath of Motion: a vow to move with the world, not against it.

Resolve, confidence, calm momentum.
