The Series Metadata directory defines the shared identity substrate for all five books in the Little Science Series.
It ensures that characters, visuals, resonance rules, and apprentice‑arc structures remain consistent across:

  • Book 1 — Little Gravity
  • Book 2 — Little Light
  • Book 3 — Little Motion
  • Book 4 — Little Time
  • Book 5 — Little Matter

This directory is the canonical reference layer for writers, artists, animators, and AIs.

1. Cross‑Book Character Consistency#

Defines how each apprentice:

  • moves
  • resonates
  • grows
  • interacts with the Master
  • embodies their domain

The Characters_Index.json file links all character metadata across books.

2. Visual Identity Continuity#

The Visual Identity Guide defines:

  • color palettes
  • lighting rules
  • cloak behavior
  • silhouette standards
  • environmental motifs

This ensures each book has its own identity while remaining part of a unified world.

3. Animation Identity Continuity#

The Animation Identity Guide defines:

  • resonance behavior
  • motion pacing
  • environmental responses
  • emotional timing cues

This ensures all Imagine animations feel like they belong to the same universe.

4. Guild Lore + World Structure#

The Apprentice Guild Lore file defines:

  • the Guild’s purpose
  • the Master’s role
  • the apprentice‑arc
  • the world’s metaphoric physics
  • the emotional + conceptual foundations of the series

This lore is referenced across all five books.
