Ammeter#

Ammeters measure electric current directly through magnetic or resistive effects. Their operational principles are simple, stable, and well‑understood across domains.

Dimensional Core (SET)#

  • Spin: not relevant
  • Elec: primary measurement axis
  • Temp: minor influence on resistance‑based designs

Why Green‑Zone#

Ammeters operate in a stable, substrate‑agnostic regime.
Their readings correspond directly to physical current flow, with minimal inference or model dependence. Calibration is straightforward and drift is low.

Regime Notes#

  • pos‑regime: linear current measurement
  • Q‑regime: heating effects at high current
  • neg‑regime: overload, saturation, or magnetic nonlinearity

Alignment Notes#

Already aligned.
Clear operational limits (max current, thermal load) should be stated, but no conceptual cleanup is needed.
