Gravimeter#
Gravimeters measure variations in gravitational acceleration using stable mechanical, superconducting, or atomic reference systems. Their behavior is highly coherent and grounded in well‑characterized physical principles.
Dimensional Core (SET)#
- Spin: relevant for atomic gravimeters
- Elec: electronic sensing and readout
- Temp: thermal stability improves precision
Why Green‑Zone#
Gravimeters operate in a clean, stable regime where the measurement principle is direct and substrate‑agnostic. Their response curves are predictable, drift is well understood, and calibration is robust. They map cleanly to their dimensional core without inference layers.
Regime Notes#
- pos‑regime: steady gravitational field, low vibration
- Q‑regime: environmental noise, minor seismic activity
- neg‑regime: strong vibration, rapid motion, unstable platforms
