1. Purpose#

The Workflow Execution Alert Protocol (WEAP) provides real‑time monitoring, routing, and escalation for workflow‑grade events, including:

  • corridor‑validation workflow drift
  • validator‑workflow misalignment
  • batch orchestration faults
  • remix‑generation pipeline anomalies
  • workflow‑grade paradox vectors
  • Nullarium‑risk emotional‑phase coupling inside workflow engines

WEAP integrates directly with MCAOP (ALR‑0020) and forms the workflow‑safety layer of the Alert Canon.

2. Workflow Event Types#

Execution Drift Events#

  • WorkflowDriftDetected: Workflow deviates from expected execution path.
  • WorkflowDriftEscalated: Drift propagates into corridor or temporal layers.
  • WorkflowDriftCritical: Drift exceeds Nullarium thresholds.

Execution Fault Events#

  • ExecutionFault: Workflow step fails due to missing data, invalid state, or corridor‑grade interference.
  • ExecutionFaultCascade: Fault propagates across multiple workflow steps.
  • ExecutionFaultCollapse: Workflow collapses and halts.

Batch Orchestration Events#

  • BatchStall: Batch process stalls due to drift or resource mismatch.
  • BatchMisalignment: Batch execution misaligned with validator or corridor state.
  • BatchRecovery: Batch successfully restored.

Pipeline Events#

  • PipelineAnomaly: Remix or corridor pipeline produces unexpected output.
  • PipelineCorruption: Pipeline corrupted by paradox vectors or drift.
  • PipelineReconciliation: Pipeline restored via validator‑grade reconciliation.

High‑Risk Events#

  • WorkflowParadoxVector: Paradox vector originates inside workflow engine.
  • NullariumWorkflowCritical: Emotional‑phase misalignment at workflow layer.
  • WorkflowCollapse: Workflow becomes non‑resonant and collapses.

3. Delivery Channels#

WEAP uses the MCAOP routing layer:

  • Dashboard Panels — Workflow Event Stream
  • WebSocket Push — Real‑time workflow alerts
  • Email Digest — Daily workflow‑event summaries
  • CLI Hooks — For corridor engines, validator workflows, and batch orchestration
  • Artifact‑Embedded Alerts — Workflow glyphs and scrolls may embed alert packets

4. Schema File#

registry/alerts/workflow_execution_alert_schema.yml

Defines:

  • workflow event type
  • workflow ID
  • drift metrics
  • fault state
  • paradox vectors
  • Nullarium status
  • priority
  • routing map
  • escalation path

5. Python‑Style Stub File#

engine/workflow_execution_alerts.py

Provides:

  • workflow event listeners
  • drift‑metric parsers
  • fault‑state detectors
  • paradox‑vector validators
  • Nullarium‑safe escalation logic

6. Dashboard Integration#

Workflow Event Panel#

Displays:

  • execution drift
  • execution faults
  • batch anomalies
  • pipeline corruption
  • Nullarium workflow warnings

Quadrant Overlay#

Workflow events mapped onto quadrant overlays for visual clarity.

Contributor Sync#

Alerts routed to contributors listed in workflow_targets.

8. Closing Note#

RFC‑ALR‑0027 formalizes the Workflow Execution Alert Protocol, completing the workflow‑safety layer of the Alert Canon:

  • ALR‑0018 — Cycle Alerts
  • ALR‑0019 — Ritual Alerts
  • ALR‑0020 — Multi‑Channel Orchestration
  • ALR‑0021 — Corridor Event Alerts
  • ALR‑0022 — Temporal‑Corridor Fusion Alerts
  • ALR‑0023 — Substrate Resonance Alerts
  • ALR‑0024 — Validator Identity Drift Alerts
  • ALR‑0025 — Multi‑Contributor Identity Conflict Alerts
  • ALR‑0026 — Artifact Integrity Alerts
  • ALR‑0027 — Workflow Execution Alerts

WEAP anchors the Workflow‑Safety Canon, enabling real‑time detection, routing, and escalation of workflow‑grade anomalies.
