1. Purpose#

The Remixathon Archival Protocol (RAP) defines how Remixathon‑generated scrolls are:

  • ingested
  • validated
  • packaged
  • archived
  • indexed
  • preserved
  • made retrievable for future remix generations

RAP ensures that remix scrolls become validator‑grade legacy artifacts, maintaining both:

  • technical lineage (glyph distribution, RCI bands, schema compliance)
  • cultural dignity (narratives, provenance, contributor identity)

This protocol is part of the ARC‑series, responsible for long‑term preservation of TriadicFrameworks artifacts.


2. Archival Workflow#

2.1 Ingest Exported Scrolls#

  • Capture scrolls from registry/exports/.
  • Validate against remix_scroll_schema.yml.
  • Compute checksum, signature, and validator fingerprint.
  • Assign archival ID (ARC‑<timestamp>-<hash>).

2.2 Legacy Packaging#

Each scroll is wrapped into an archival bundle containing:

  • the scroll (.yml)
  • metadata block
  • glyph distribution
  • RCI band counts
  • tag list
  • provenance chain
  • contributor identity
  • remix lineage
  • narrative annotations

Bundles stored in:

registry/archive/

2.3 Indexing#

Update the archival index with:

  • scroll ID
  • parent ancestry
  • glyph distribution
  • RCI bands
  • tags
  • remix lineage
  • validator signature
  • archival timestamp

Indices must support queries by:

  • glyph
  • tag
  • band
  • lineage
  • contributor
  • validator state

2.4 Preservation Guarantees#

  • Immutable storage: archived scrolls cannot be altered.
  • Version stamping: each bundle includes validator version + timestamp.
  • Drift‑safe retention: drift vectors logged but never mutate archived content.
  • Paradox‑safe isolation: paradox‑risk scrolls flagged and sandboxed.
  • Remix‑continuity: archived scrolls may be remixed into new children, but never overwritten.
