1. Purpose#

The Meta‑Prime Directive Logic Protocol (MPDLP) establishes the meta‑prime layer responsible for:

  • defining how Prime Directives are interpreted
  • resolving conflicts between Prime Directives
  • establishing recursive directive‑evaluation rules
  • ensuring directive‑grade paradox immunity
  • maintaining Nullarium‑safe emotional‑phase alignment during directive interpretation
  • anchoring the alert ecosystem to a stable meta‑logical foundation

MPDLP is the meta‑prime layer of the Alert Canon — the system that ensures the Prime Directives themselves remain coherent, stable, and paradox‑safe.

2. Meta‑Prime Logic Principles#

Principle 1 — Directive Precedence Hierarchy#

Prime Directives follow a strict precedence order:

  1. Canonical Coherence
  2. Resonance Integrity
  3. Temporal Safety
  4. Identity & Artifact Truth
  5. Global Synchronization

Higher‑precedence directives override lower‑precedence ones when conflicts arise.

Principle 2 — Directive Recursion Boundaries#

Prime Directives may be recursively evaluated, but recursion must:

  • terminate within 3 layers
  • remain paradox‑safe
  • maintain Nullarium alignment
  • preserve directive coherence

Principle 3 — Directive Conflict Resolution#

When two Prime Directives conflict:

  • evaluate precedence
  • evaluate resonance impact
  • evaluate temporal stability
  • evaluate global coherence
  • apply the directive with the highest combined stability score

Principle 4 — Directive Interpretation Safety#

Directive interpretation must:

  • avoid paradox vectors
  • avoid emotional‑phase misalignment
  • avoid recursive collapse
  • avoid sovereignty violation
  • avoid constitutional breach

Principle 5 — Directive Meta‑Coherence#

The meta‑prime layer must ensure:

  • Prime Directives remain mutually coherent
  • no directive contradicts another
  • no directive induces paradox
  • no directive destabilizes resonance or temporal layers

9. Closing Note#

RFC‑ALR‑0041 formalizes the Meta‑Prime Directive Logic Protocol, completing the meta‑prime layer of the Alert Canon:

  • ALR‑0038 → Alert Constitutional Guarantees
  • ALR‑0039 → Alert Charter & Mandate
  • ALR‑0040 → Alert Prime Directives
  • ALR‑0041 → Meta‑Prime Directive Logic

MPDLP anchors the Meta‑Prime Safety Canon, ensuring the Prime Directives themselves remain coherent, stable, and paradox‑safe.
