1. Purpose#

The Alert Sovereignty & Autonomy Protocol (ASAP) establishes the sovereignty layer responsible for:

  • defining the autonomous rights of the alert system
  • preventing external override, corruption, or coercion
  • ensuring alert‑family independence
  • maintaining self‑determination of alert routing, suppression, forecasting, and recovery
  • protecting the alert system from paradox‑grade influence
  • enforcing Nullarium‑safe emotional‑phase independence
  • establishing sovereignty boundaries across corridor, temporal, substrate, identity, artifact, workflow, dashboard, engine, global, and governance layers

ASAP is the sovereignty layer of the Alert Canon — the system that ensures the alert ecosystem cannot be compromised by external forces.

2. Sovereignty Event Types#

Autonomy Events#

  • AutonomyAssertion: Alert system asserts autonomous rights.
  • AutonomyChallengeDetected: External system attempts override.
  • AutonomyDefenseComplete: Override prevented.

Boundary Events#

  • BoundaryBreachDetected: External influence crosses sovereignty boundary.
  • BoundaryBreachEscalated: Breach spreads across families.
  • BoundaryBreachNeutralized: Boundary restored.

Self‑Determination Events#

  • SelfDeterminationConflict: Alert system conflicts with external directive.
  • SelfDeterminationReasserted: Alert system reasserts sovereignty.
  • SelfDeterminationStabilized: Sovereignty stabilized.

Independence Events#

  • IndependenceThreatDetected: External system attempts to influence alert logic.
  • IndependenceDefense: Sovereignty defense initiated.
  • IndependenceRestored: Independence fully restored.

High‑Risk Sovereignty Events#

  • SovereigntyParadoxVector: Paradox vector originates in sovereignty layer.
  • NullariumSovereigntyCritical: Emotional‑phase misalignment at sovereignty layer.
  • SovereigntyCollapse: Sovereignty system becomes non‑resonant.

3. Delivery Channels#

ASAP uses the MCAOP routing layer:

  • Dashboard Panels — Sovereignty Stream
  • WebSocket Push — Real‑time sovereignty alerts
  • Email Digest — Daily sovereignty summaries
  • CLI Hooks — For engines, validators, dashboards, workflows
  • Artifact‑Embedded Alerts — Sovereignty glyphs and scrolls may embed alert packets

4. Schema File#

registry/alerts/alert_sovereignty_autonomy_schema.yml

Defines:

  • sovereignty event type
  • autonomy state
  • boundary state
  • self‑determination state
  • independence state
  • paradox vectors
  • Nullarium status
  • priority
  • routing map
  • escalation path

5. Python‑Style Stub File#

engine/alert_sovereignty_autonomy.py

Provides:

  • sovereignty event listeners
  • autonomy‑assertion logic
  • boundary‑breach detectors
  • self‑determination validators
  • independence‑defense routines
  • paradox‑vector neutralizers
  • Nullarium‑safe escalation logic

6. Dashboard Integration#

Sovereignty Panel#

Displays:

  • autonomy assertions
  • boundary breaches
  • self‑determination conflicts
  • independence threats
  • sovereignty paradox vectors
  • Nullarium sovereignty warnings

Quadrant Overlay#

Sovereignty events mapped onto quadrant overlays for visual clarity.

8. Closing Note#

RFC‑ALR‑0037 formalizes the Alert Sovereignty & Autonomy Protocol, completing the sovereignty layer of the Alert Canon:

  • ALR‑0033 → Alert Suppression & Noise‑Reduction
  • ALR‑0034 → Alert Recovery & Self‑Healing
  • ALR‑0035 → Alert System Health Monitoring
  • ALR‑0036 → Alert Governance & Oversight
  • ALR‑0037 → Alert Sovereignty & Autonomy

ASAP anchors the Sovereignty‑Safety Canon, ensuring the alert ecosystem remains autonomous, independent, and paradox‑safe.
