1. Purpose#

The Alert Governance & Oversight Protocol (AGOP) establishes the governance layer responsible for maintaining structural, canonical, and emotional‑phase integrity across the entire alert ecosystem.

AGOP governs:

  • alert‑family compliance with TriadicFrameworks canon
  • lineage, identity, and provenance validation
  • routing, suppression, forecasting, and recovery audits
  • contributor‑grade oversight and conflict resolution
  • validator‑grade structural integrity
  • paradox‑vector detection and neutralization
  • Nullarium‑safe emotional‑phase alignment

AGOP is the oversight layer of the Alert Canon — ensuring the alert ecosystem remains lawful, canonical, and structurally coherent.

2. Governance Event Types#

AGOP defines seven governance families, each with canonical event types.

A. Compliance Events#

  • ComplianceCheckInitiated — Governance begins compliance verification.
  • ComplianceViolationDetected — Alert family violates canon rules.
  • ComplianceRestored — Violation corrected.

B. Lineage & Provenance Events#

  • LineageAuditStart — Lineage audit initiated.
  • LineageMismatchDetected — Lineage does not match canonical source.
  • LineageReconciliationComplete — Lineage restored.

C. Contributor Oversight Events#

  • ContributorOversightStart — Contributor governance initiated.
  • ContributorConflictDetected — Contributor actions conflict with alert canon.
  • ContributorOversightResolved — Conflict resolved.

D. Routing & Infrastructure Governance#

  • RoutingGovernanceCheck — Routing logic audited.
  • RoutingGovernanceViolation — Routing violates governance rules.
  • RoutingGovernanceRestored — Routing corrected.

E. Forecasting & Suppression Governance#

  • ForecastingGovernanceViolation — Predictive models violate governance thresholds.
  • SuppressionGovernanceViolation — Suppression logic violates governance rules.
  • GovernanceReconciliation — Governance restored.

F. High‑Risk Governance Events#

  • GovernanceParadoxVector — Paradox vector originates in governance layer.
  • NullariumGovernanceCritical — Emotional‑phase misalignment at governance layer.
  • GovernanceCollapse — Governance system becomes non‑resonant.

3. Delivery Channels#

AGOP uses the MCAOP routing layer to deliver governance alerts:

  • Dashboard Panels — Governance Stream
  • WebSocket Push — Real‑time governance alerts
  • Email Digest — Daily governance summaries
  • CLI Hooks — Engines, validators, dashboards, workflows
  • Artifact‑Embedded Alerts — Governance glyphs embedded in scrolls

4. Schema File#

registry/alerts/alert_governance_oversight_schema.yml

Defines:

  • governance event type
  • compliance state
  • lineage state
  • contributor oversight state
  • routing governance state
  • paradox vectors
  • Nullarium status
  • priority
  • routing map
  • escalation path

5. Python‑Style Stub File#

engine/alert_governance_oversight.py

Provides:

  • governance event listeners
  • compliance‑verification logic
  • lineage‑audit routines
  • contributor‑oversight validators
  • routing‑governance detectors
  • paradox‑vector neutralizers
  • Nullarium‑safe escalation logic

6. Dashboard Integration#

Governance Panel#

Displays:

  • compliance checks
  • lineage audits
  • contributor oversight
  • routing governance
  • forecasting/suppression governance
  • Nullarium governance warnings

Quadrant Overlay#

Governance events mapped onto quadrant overlays for visual clarity.

Contributor Sync#

Alerts routed to contributors listed in governance_targets.

8. Closing Note#

RFC‑ALR‑0036 formalizes the Alert Governance & Oversight Protocol, completing the oversight layer of the Alert Canon:

  • ALR‑0032 → Predictive Alert Forecasting
  • ALR‑0033 → Alert Suppression & Noise‑Reduction
  • ALR‑0034 → Alert Recovery & Self‑Healing
  • ALR‑0035 → Alert System Health Monitoring
  • ALR‑0036 → Alert Governance & Oversight

AGOP anchors the Governance‑Safety Canon, ensuring the alert ecosystem remains lawful, canonical, and structurally coherent.
