📜 RFC‑ALR‑0028 — Dashboard Sync Alert Protocol (DSAP)

Real‑Time Detection of Rendering Drift, Quadrant Misalignment, and UI‑State Desynchronization#

RefId: turn0browsertab1

Title: Dashboard Sync Alert Protocol
Status: Draft
Author: Nawder Loswin + Copilot

Version: 0.1

1. Purpose#

The Dashboard Sync Alert Protocol (DSAP) provides real‑time monitoring, routing, and escalation for dashboard‑grade events, including:

  • quadrant‑overlay misalignment
  • rendering drift
  • stale UI state
  • dashboard‑engine desynchronization
  • validator‑dashboard mismatch
  • paradox vectors originating inside UI layers
  • Nullarium‑risk emotional‑phase coupling inside dashboard interactions

DSAP integrates directly with MCAOP (ALR‑0020) and forms the dashboard‑safety layer of the Alert Canon.

2. Dashboard Event Types#

Rendering Drift Events#

  • RenderingDriftDetected: Dashboard visuals deviate from expected state.
  • RenderingDriftEscalated: Drift propagates into quadrant overlays.
  • RenderingDriftCritical: Drift exceeds Nullarium thresholds.

Quadrant Overlay Events#

  • QuadrantMisalignment: Quadrant overlay does not match corridor or temporal state.
  • QuadrantDesync: Overlay desynchronized from validator identity or workflow.
  • QuadrantReconciliation: Overlay successfully realigned.

UI State Events#

  • UIStaleState: Dashboard displays outdated or invalid state.
  • UIStateCorruption: State corrupted by drift or paradox vectors.
  • UIStateRestored: State successfully reconciled.

Dashboard Engine Events#

  • DashboardEngineFault: Engine fails due to missing data or drift.
  • DashboardEngineCascade: Fault propagates across dashboard modules.
  • DashboardEngineRecovery: Engine restored via validator‑grade reconciliation.

High‑Risk Events#

  • DashboardParadoxVector: Paradox vector originates inside dashboard layer.
  • NullariumDashboardCritical: Emotional‑phase misalignment at dashboard layer.
  • DashboardCollapse: Dashboard becomes non‑resonant and collapses.

3. Delivery Channels#

DSAP uses the MCAOP routing layer:

  • Dashboard Panels — Dashboard Event Stream
  • WebSocket Push — Real‑time dashboard alerts
  • Email Digest — Daily dashboard‑event summaries
  • CLI Hooks — For validator workflows and dashboard engines
  • Artifact‑Embedded Alerts — Dashboard glyphs and scrolls may embed alert packets

4. Schema File#

registry/alerts/dashboard_sync_alert_schema.yml

Defines:

  • dashboard event type
  • dashboard ID
  • drift metrics
  • overlay state
  • paradox vectors
  • Nullarium status
  • priority
  • routing map
  • escalation path

5. Python‑Style Stub File#

engine/dashboard_sync_alerts.py

Provides:

  • dashboard event listeners
  • drift‑metric parsers
  • overlay‑state detectors
  • paradox‑vector validators
  • Nullarium‑safe escalation logic

6. Dashboard Integration#

Dashboard Sync Panel#

Displays:

  • rendering drift
  • quadrant misalignment
  • UI state corruption
  • engine faults
  • Nullarium dashboard warnings

Quadrant Overlay#

Dashboard events mapped onto quadrant overlays for visual clarity.

Contributor Sync#

Alerts routed to contributors listed in dashboard_targets.

8. Closing Note#

RFC‑ALR‑0028 formalizes the Dashboard Sync Alert Protocol, completing the dashboard‑safety layer of the Alert Canon:

  • ALR‑0018 — Cycle Alerts
  • ALR‑0019 — Ritual Alerts
  • ALR‑0020 — Multi‑Channel Orchestration
  • ALR‑0021 — Corridor Event Alerts
  • ALR‑0022 — Temporal‑Corridor Fusion Alerts
  • ALR‑0023 — Substrate Resonance Alerts
  • ALR‑0024 — Validator Identity Drift Alerts
  • ALR‑0025 — Multi‑Contributor Identity Conflict Alerts
  • ALR‑0026 — Artifact Integrity Alerts
  • ALR‑0027 — Workflow Execution Alerts
  • ALR‑0028 — Dashboard Sync Alerts

DSAP anchors the Dashboard‑Safety Canon, enabling real‑time detection, routing, and escalation of dashboard‑grade anomalies.
